Vmware Web Client Download
Aug 25, 2017 VMware plans to deprecate the Flash-based vSphere Web Client with the next numbered release (not update release) of vSphere. The next version of vSphere will be the terminal release for which vSphere Web Client will be available. There is No Official vSphere Web Client Download (with one caveat below, so read on) Yep, it’s the unsexy truth, but the vSphere Web Client is actually a part of the vSphere vCenter Server that you only get when you purchase it from VMware.
Cisco UCS Manager Plug-In for vSphere Web Client enables you to register and manage Cisco UCS domains. When you install Cisco UCS Manager plug-in, register the UCS domains individually using UCS Manager user account. Depending on the UCS Manager user privileges, you used while registering the UCS domain you can perform the actions. Also, each plug-in action supports the same privileges as Cisco UCS Manager.
For example, if you registered a UCS domain with admin privileges, you can perform actions on that domain using the plug-in. You can perform various actions on the servers, firmware, UCS domains, service profiles, and service profile templates. Whereas, if you registered a UCS domain with read-only privileges, you can launch Cisco UCS Manager GUI and can view the domains that you registered.
When you log in to the Cisco UCS Manager plug-in, you can view the domains that you have registered. You cannot view or edit the UCS domains registered by different users. However, you can view the domains registered by other users if you have the extension privilege and the domain registered is publicly visible.
For more information on each privilege and the user role given that privilege by default, see

The vSphere Web Client enables you to connect to a vCenter Server system to manage an ESXi host through a browser.
■ | Verify that you are a member of the Administrators group on the system. |
Verify that the system has an Internet connection.
■ | Verify that the system meets the software requirements for the vSphere Web Client. See vSphere Client and vSphere Web Client Software Requirements. The vSphere Web Client requires a 64-bit operating system for installation. |
2 | Select VMware vSphere®Web Client (Server) and click Install. |
Follow the wizard prompts to complete the installation. When the vSphere Web Client installation is finished, a browser opens.
4 | Register one or more vCenter Servers on the vSphere Web Client Administration Application page in the browser. If the vCenter Server uses IPv6, you must specify the server address in IPv6 format, unless you use the fully qualified domain name. As specified in the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) standards for IPv6 addresses, you must enclose the IPv6 address in square brackets: [IPv6-address]. |
5 | If the browser fails to open or to display the Administration Application page correctly, open the application from the shortcut: From the Windows Start menu, select Programs > VMware > VMware vSphere Web Client > vSphere Administration Application. |
